Topo Chico Hard Seltzer now available in glass bottles

If you are a fan of mineral water, then no doubt the name Topo Chico is one that you are instantly familiar with. Since 1895 the water has been sourced and bottled in Monterrey, Mexico and that has continued even after the brand was bought by Coca-Cola in 2017.

But what makes Topo Chico so iconic is not just the water, but what it comes in. The glass bottles the mineral water comes in have become a legendary symbol that fans of the brand instantly recognize.

Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the Topo Chico Hard Seltzer that arrived here and in England this year. While immensely popular, fans of the brand have made it known that they aren’t happy that the vegan alcoholic hard seltzers are not available in the iconic glass bottles.

Well, Topo Chico has heard your pleas and is ready to give you a special present this holiday season. According to the press release we received, starting in late November Topo Chico Hard Seltzer will be available in the iconic 12oz glass bottles all year long.

Where can you get Topo Chico Hard Seltzer in glass bottles?

According to Matt Escalante, senior director of hard seltzers at Molson Coors Beverage Company, who makes Top Chico Hard Seltzers, they are well aware how the glass bottles have become a key part of the drinking experience.

"“There’s something incredibly special about drinking Topo Chico Hard Seltzer straight from the bottle and we can’t wait for drinkers to pop something with a bit more character this season and beyond.”"

Right now the only Hard Seltzer flavor that will come in the glass bottles is the fan-favorite Strawberry Guava. It will be available in 12 packs and each bottle has 4.7 percent alcohol by volume as well as 100 calories.

However, the gifts don’t stop there. In addition, the original four-flavor variety pack will be going nationwide next year to be followed by a new Top Chico Margarita Hard Seltzer in the spring. And hopefully more flavors will become available in the glass bottles down the road.

Because while cans are just fine, everyone knows a bottle this cool is way better.
