Is Applebee’s open on Thanksgiving Day 2021?

Last year, in 2020, the holidays were certainly a whirlwind. Last year, Thanksgiving was certainly unconventional, as were all of the other major yearly holidays as well. Lots of restaurants that are normally open on the holidays, were closed; however, given the circumstances, 2021 is (hopefully) looking up, as is the future. And even Applebee’s wasn’t doing their normal thing in 2020.

If you’re family is deciding to cook a full-on turkey dinner with all of the traditional (much like my family is and always does), then great for you! Enjoy! However, if you’re spending the holiday alone, or if your family just doesn’t do the whole traditional Thanksgiving thing, then try heading to a restaurant and dining in with the fam or taking it out and bringing it home too!

This year, Applebee’s will be open; however, some locations may not be (and only have limited hours, as select locations are stated on the website. While the menu hasn’t been released yet, they will be serving a special holiday menu.

Here are previous items that have been part of Thanksgiving menu(s) from Applebee’s in the past:

  • Turkey Breast
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Gravy
  • Garlicky Green Beans

Imagine this: freshly and crispy-fried tortilla chips dipped into a super hot and freshly melty white queso dip mixed with various warm and delicious spices…. this is the ultimate app worth having your mouth water over.

If you wanna share like I did, more power to ya, but my boyfriend and I definitely could’ve eaten our own platter ourselves. So so good and so so worth ordering!

3. Whisky Bacon Burger

Imagine this: crispy bacon strips, crispy onion strings, two pieces of Pepper Jack cheese, all on top of a delicious and juicy all-beef burger patty, all topped off with a fireball-infused BBQ steak sauce…. now if that doesn’t sound like a good and hearty burger, then I’m not so sure what does.

This burger seems big enough to share, yet delicious enough not to want to, so eat up and enjoy!
