Is IHOP open for Thanksgiving Day 2021?
By D. Goodman
If you go to your local IHOP, you are probably going there for one thing, and that’s the pancakes. And why not? Their pancakes are really, really good. I mean, there’s a reason they’ve been serving them up for over 60 years.
However, pancakes probably aren’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Thanksgiving. Turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie sure. But pancakes? Probably not. Unless you’re under the age of 10. Kids will eat pancakes literally at any time. They don’t need an excuse.
Aw, who the heck are we kidding. Adults don’t need an excuse to eat pancakes either. There’s a good reason why pancakes for dinner is a real thing. They’re pancakes! Serve them up with some warm maple syrup and butter and you always have a winner.
And we didn’t even mention all the different flavors of pancakes yet. Strawberry, chocolate chip, blueberry. Did you know IHOP has New York Cheesecake pancakes? Pancakes made with cheesecake? How can that be anything but delicious? Lord does that sound good.
Is IHOP open for dinner on Thanksgiving 2021?
Sorry. Forgot what I was talking about there. Where was I going with this?
Oh right. Thanksgiving. Anyway, maybe you don’t feel like cooking a huge Thanksgiving dinner. Or maybe you’re just sick of turkey. Or possibly you want to try something different and buck tradition and have pancakes for your holiday dinner.
Well, lucky for you the King of the Pancake is ready to take care of you. Because IHOP will be open for the Thanksgiving holiday in 2021. That means you can watch the parade and then enjoy a stack of buttermilk pancakes if that’s the kind of thing you want to do.
Of course, before you head out make sure to call your local IHOP to see what hours they will be open and invariably some locations may in fact be closed due to staffing issues. But if you really want to have pancakes for Thanksgiving dinner, IHOP will be more the happy to take care of you.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I really want some pancakes for some reason.
