The holiday season is here and that means plenty of sweets treats are hitting the stores! Some of those treats will be from The American Licorice Company who makes everyone’s favorite Sour Punch straws and Red Vines. And when it comes to the holiday season, they do not play around. They have a huge assortment of candy that is perfect for everyone’s stockings.

Let’s start with the Red Vines! Nothing screams Christmas like gingerbread and the Red Vines Gingerbread Twists combines the fan-favorite licorice with the holiday flavor.

Imagine making a gingerbread house out of these. It would look like a little candy log cabin. The only catch is that these are only available on the American Licorice website.

Just looking for your regular Red Vines? Those are available too but in fun wintery packaging so you get a little bit of the holidays even if you’re eating the candy you can get all year round. You can get these at Target, Kroger, Meijer, Michael’s, or Rite Aid

Ok, time for my specialty. Sour Punch! There are so many holiday-themed Sour Punch candy coming out this year. The first is Sour Punch Trees. They come in small pouches so it’s harder to eat a whole huge bag (it happens!). The tree-shaped sour chews come in cherry and lime flavors and each pouch has a “to” and “from” label on it for easy gift giving. Check these out at Walgreens, Ingles, and Harris Teeter.

There are also two different Sour Punch Straws ready for your stocking this year. There are Sour Punch Santa Straws and Sour Punch Arctic Straws. The Santa Staws are red and green and are berry and apple flavor, respectively. I’m betting Santa would not say no to these if you put them out for him on Christmas Eve night. These can be found at Walmart, CVS, or Family Dollar.

The Sour Punch Arctic Straws come in snow-themed packaging with four different flavors of straws inside. The flavors include arctic avalanche, frozen flurry, green glacier, and polar plunge. Those translate into berry lemonade, watermelon honeydew, lime cucumber, and grape pineapple. Yum! Check out these at CVS and Target.

You can also grab a bag of Sour Punch Merry Mix Bites if you want some bite-sized sour candy instead of the long straws. The bites come in four flavors including watermelon, green apple, cherry, and berry. You can purchase these at Target and Walmart.

More into a selection of a bunch of candies? American Licorice Company has you covered there too. Their Deck the Halls with Boughs and Bundles includes a 9oz bag of Sour Punch Assorted Bites, a 5oz tray of Red Vines Grape Twists, an 8oz bag of Red Vines Orignal Red Jumbo Twists, and a 5oz bag of Red Vines Sugar-Free Strawberry Twists. This is only available on the American Licorice website.

I got a sample of most of these candies sent to me and they’re amazing. Although, I am biased towards any kind of sour candy. But whichever you choose, either for you or as a gift, you will not be disappointed.
