Cardi B teams with Starco Brands to introduce Whipshots
By D. Goodman
There are few musicians who have had the cultural impact over the last few years like Cardi B. Ever since her debut album arrived in 2018 it seems like the best-selling rapper and businesswoman has been everywhere, invading all aspects of our collective culture.
And to no one’s surprise, food has been a big part of that invasion. Over the years she has released a line of snack foods as well as teaming with Pepsi for a series of television commercials.
Now it appears that Cardi B is getting in on the world of alcohol-infused whipped creams, one of the biggest trends in the spirits industry. According to a recent press release she is working with Starco Brands to release a new vodka-infused whipped cream called Whipshots.
The brand is not just about the whipped cream though. That would be too easy. Cardi B and Starco are hoping to make Whipshots not just a spirit but an experience for the consumer.
Cardi B’s new Whipshots are available in three indulgent flavors.
Whipshots are currently available in three flavors, vanilla, caramel and mocha and are being sold in three sizes with prices ranging from $5.99 to $19.99. And if you want to give it a try before it goes on sale everywhere early next year, you’re going to need a bit of luck.
Every day during the month of December, Cardi B and Starco are doing what they call the Whip Drop. 500 cans of Whipshots will be made available for sale at Whipshots.com and once they’re gone, that’s it.
For her part, Cardi B sounds excited about Whipshots and how it will make any occasion a party.
"“Whipshots is over the top, sexy and unique – kind of like me. It’s going to be a party in every can. No matter where you are, you can party like Cardi, and I’m so excited to finally be able to share this one-of-a-kind product with all of you.”"
Seriously. Who wouldn’t want to party like Cardi B?
