Stouffer’s releasing singing boxes for the holiday season

Lately, food brands have been pulling out all the stops to ensure they stand out and make you want to buy their products. From new, strange merchandise to giveaways and new packaging, food brands are really working their marketing teams to come up with new ideas. But Stouffer’s might have just put themselves at the top of the pack with their new singing boxes.

Yes, you read that right. For the 2021 holiday season, Stouffer’s is introducing new boxes for their family and party-size lasagna and mac and cheese that sing a jingle.

Who came up with this idea? Who even has the brain that would be like “you know what this needs? Singing boxes!”? And then who approved it? So many questions!

But let’s get to the boxes. Each one has a sticker on the front that you can push and it plays a 15-second jingle. To find out what the song is, you’ll have to find one of these boxes at your local Meijer or Giant Eagle. It sounds like it’s holiday-themed so it should be fun.

Stouffer’s Singing Sticker boxes are available now

The meals with singing sticker boxes include:

• Stouffer’s Singing Sticker Party Size Lasagna with Meat & Sauce for $15.99
• Stouffer’s Singing Sticker Large Family Size Lasagna with Meat & Sauce for $12.99
• Stouffer’s  Singing Sticker Family Size Lasagna with Meat & Sauce for $8.99
• Stouffer’s Singing Sticker Party Size Macaroni & Cheese for $12.99
• Stouffer’s Singing Sticker Family Size Macaroni & Cheese for $7.99

The new singing boxes became available at the beginning of December and will be available while supplies last so get them while you can. If this is popular enough, it may become an annual tradition.

While I think this is a very weird marketing thing, I will be on the lookout for these (especially the lasagna) because it’s impossible for me not to push a button. I also really want to know what the song is like.
