It’s the unprecedented news that we didn’t know we needed as foodies – Reese’s University is heading to the 133rd Rose Parade! That’s right, in a move that we never saw coming, it turns out that Reese’s University is the third university to be a part of the upcoming Rose Parade on January 1.

What does this mean? It means that even though the Fighting Cuppies will not be competing in the Rose Bowl to get their hands on the iconic trophy, they are still showing up and bringing the spirit of excellence and greatness we expect from our newly minted Reese’s University.

According to the press release from the (not so real) University, the Fighting Cuppies are bringing a very special float to the Rose Parade titled, “Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Success.”

Obviously we are pretty excited by this delicious news, as it is further proof that where Reese’s go, magic happens. But there is more to this announcement than just a sure to be iconic float in the Rose Parade, because where Cuppy the University mascot goes, deliciousness follows.

And when we say Cuppy brings the deliciousness, we mean it. Because according to the press release we received,

"To inspire greatness and keep the Tournament of Roses® visitors running on excellence (AKA: peanut butter and chocolate), fans can be on the lookout for Cuppy – the official mascot of Reese’s U. Wherever Cuppy is, there is sure to be Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups aplenty."

If you want to learn more about Reese’s University and the magic that is the Fighting Cuppies, check out the university’s website and check out their current collection of gear to show off your peanut butter and chocolate spirit. While there are currently three pieces in the university collection right now, this is just a sweet tease if you will because the full drop is set to happen in January.

If you are a fan of the Rose Parade and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups then this is the ultimate news! We get a fun and inspiring parade float and hopefully a bunch of free peanut butter cups wherever Cuppy shows up.
