Is Dunkin’ open Christmas Day 2021?

Everyone has their favorite coffee. For any serious coffee drinker it is a question you get asked over and over and you can back up your choice with tons of reasons and excuses. But often it comes down to one simple question: Does it taste the best?

Some people love their Starbucks. Others will never waver from their morning Wawa ritual. Still others are fine with what they get from McDonald’s with their Egg McMuffin. But for me and many, many others, it’s Dunkin’ or nothing at all.

To my mind, Dunkin‘ coffee is simply the best, full stop. Nothing will ever convince me otherwise and the fact you can get a glazed donut with it just proves my point for me. Add in they have what could be the best app on the market and you can keep your Starbucks, thank you very much.

So when it happens that I can’t get my Dunkin’ fix, it isn’t a good day. Any day without Dunkin’ coffee is a lost day. And the big concern many fans of the chain have is whether that will include Christmas Day in 2021.

Will your local Dunkin’ be open on Christmas Day this year?

The answer is not as straight forward as yes or no like many chains. The best way we can put it is … maybe.

Since each Dunkin’ is independently owned, they may decide to open for the morning and close in the afternoon. Others may close down altogether and not open again until December 26. Still others may just keep their regular hours.

I know my local Dunkin’ does in fact open for the morning for a couple hours. At least they have in the past. With the labor situation like it currently is that might not be the case this year. And your favorite Dunkin’ might do something completely different.

So the answer is that you need to check either on the app or ask your local Dunkin’ if they will be open. That way you’ll know for certain if you can get some of that delicious coffee or if you’ll have to make due with the stuff you brew at home.
