Is Five Guys open Christmas Day 2021?

If you know me, then you know that I love Five Guys burgers. I’ve written about them here on Guilty Eats, I fawn over them whenever the subject of burgers comes up and will tell anyone who will listen that Five Guys would be my last meal if I was ever on Death Row.

Not that I plan to ever be on Death Row mind you, but I think I made my point pretty clear. Five Guys burgers and fries are among the best you can get anywhere.

However, as good as they are, Five Guys is not what you typically think of when it comes to Christmas dinner. I’m sure somewhere in some part of the country some family enjoys bacon cheeseburgers on Christmas, but it’s just not anyone I know.

But let’s say you and your brood decide to try something new and exciting for Christmas Day dinner and wow, burgers and fries sounds like it might just be perfect. Not as much work, cleanup isn’t as tough and who doesn’t love a burger no matter what day it is?

Is Five Guys open on Christmas Day this year?

Well, I don’t mean to be the buzzkill around here, but if you were thinking Five Guys would be just what the Santa ordered for Christmas Day, I’ve got some bad news.

According to the fine folks over at Mashed, all Five Guys locations will be closed on Christmas Day 2021. Every single one will be locked up tight until December 26.

But there is silver lining. It turns out that the chain will be open Christmas Eve for that pre-holiday burger feast you’ve been thinking about. So while you won’t be able to enjoy on Christmas Day, that doesn’t mean you have to go without the entire holiday.

Most Five Guys are normally open until 10 PM every night but they will likely close earlier on Christmas Eve. So make sure to check first if you’re running behind doing those last minute holiday errands.
