Is Olive Garden open on New Year’s Day?

2022 is just around the corner (for better or for worse). Why not start off the new year by celebrating at Olive Garden? Sure, lots of people will be starting diets or workout plans, but do those ever last more than a month? Why not eat some lasagna and then exercise later?

But is Olive Garden open on New Year’s Day?

Luckily for all of us, the sort-of Italian restaurant is open on Jan 1, 2022. They will be open for their regular Saturday hours of 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

As most people have the day off, it’s a great day to either get some take-out and have a zoom meeting with friends or go to the restaurant and have your soup, salad, and breadsticks there. You can also order food for next-day delivery if you order before 5 p.m.

And if you are interested in eating healthier in the new year, soup, salad, and breadsticks are healthy, right? At least it’s not Fettucine Alfredo.

But if you’re in the mood to indulge, the Olive Garden classics include Tour of Italy, Chicken parmigiana, Lasagna Classico, shrimp scampi, or Chicken Marsala.

Or if you’re want to make your own unique dish you can create your own pasta. You choose which pasta shape you want, the sauce of your choice, and if you want any proteins added in.

And don’t forget dessert (how could you?)! They offer their well-known Chocolate Brownie Lasagna, tiramisu, Black Tie Mousse Cake, Warm Italian Donuts, and Silician Cheesecake with Strawberry Topping.  I will take all of the above, please and thank you!
