By Amit Shukla
India is the land of stories, travel and food. The country has a different taste at every corner of its geographical space. No matter where you go, there is a spicy taste all across the nation, but not every dish needs to be spicy. The food culture of India is a lesson to the world that you need to follow the good and enjoy it accordingly. The perfect mixture of different tastes and spices make the experience exemplary. No matter what you pick, Indian food is tasty and even better than what you tasted at the last crossroads.
Every place has hotels, but street food has its charm in India. Various vendors serve local cuisine across the streets in their cart or a ready to move outlet. It’s similar to the hot dog stand we have across The States. They serve hygienic food with quality, and you are taken aback by the quality of the food and the number of people that enjoy it with devotion.
Spices are integral to India. If you want less spicy food or beverage, you can ask the vendors for help. We are picking five Indian dishes amongst the plethora of choices, so don’t feel bad if your favorite isn’t on the list.
5 Indian dishes to try the next time you are in India
5. Dhokla
A Gujarati Traditional, Dhokla is served across the country now. You can find it in every corner of the country. We don’t want to talk about the ingredients as we want you to guess the things involved in making the dish. It’s spongy and melts in the mouth.
It makes you feel full and helps your health. Dhokla with chilly is ideal. If you don’t like cooked or fried chilly, you can avoid eating it. It reduces a part of the taste but is ok if you don’t like spicy food or have some ailment that requires you to stay away from spices.
4. Vada Pav
Vada Pav is sold everywhere in the country now, but it started in Maharashtra. Made with a fried potato filled and fried with veggies and then put on a bun, Vada Pav is the perfect supplement for a meal. Mumbaikars like to enjoy it throughout the day or twenty-four hours.
Served with a fried chilly, Vada Pav can fill your stomach with just two pieces. People from the country come to Mumbai in search of a better tomorrow. If you are short on funds or want something light, Vada Pav is a perfect choice.
3. Litti Chokha
Now from the west to the east side of the country, we step to Bihar’s and now the world-famous Litti Chokha. Prepared with brinjal as the vegetable and Litti as the bread, two pieces are enough to fill anyone with a huge appetite.
The food of most people from the east and the north side of India, Litti Chokha, comes with a spicy chutney (sauce), but you can always ask for others that aren’t that spicy. You can also enjoy it with clarified butter. The taste is lip-smacking.
2. Kolkata’s Food
We didn’t want to talk about one specific food from this location because The City of Joy has various foods just like other locations that you can enjoy. Machar Jhol, Rasogulla and others are some names that you can enjoy in Kolkata.
The City of Joy’s food, when enjoyed with RJ Praveen and his team’s Chiggy and Kuch Log Series or any content created by them, brings a smile to your face, and you feel happy. After all, nothing matches better than tasty food and quality entertainment.
1. Kahwa Tea
As the trip comes to an end, how about a cup of tea? Everyone loves tea, and if not, you should give this tea a try. Originally from Jammu and Kashmir, you should take a sip and enjoy the tea.
There’s nothing better than a sipped tea that has the essence and the qualities to rejuvenate you. Kahwa Tea is known for its blissful properties. The colour of the tea is also a reason for curiosity, and you should always look at its taste.
