We all know that Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays. And we also know that there are a number of holidays that will impact their restaurant hours. But the real question for us, is whether or not Martin Luther King Jr. Day is one of those holidays that will leave us looking for a quick meal somewhere else.

Considering Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a federal holiday, leaving organizations such as the United States Post Office closed for business, we would be remiss not to check to see if the holiday will also mean hitting up Wendy’s, McDonald’s, or even KFC for our fast food fix on January 17.

While the answer is not as easy as a yes or no, we ended up looking back at historical data for an answer. So what does this mean? It means we turned to a 2021 Newsweek article to learn that in the past, Chick-fil-A has remained open for the holiday, but in some locations, the hours of operation have been reduced.

Will Martin Luther King Jr. Day mean a change of hours for Chick-fil-A?

Will we be able to get our Chick-fil-A Deluxe Sandwich or a bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup on January 17? The answer is yes.

However, we definitely recommend checking their store hours if you are trying to go earlier than normal or even later than you might normally go. While they may be open, individual restaurants might have reduced operating hours from their normal 6:30 A.M. to 10 P.M. hours. And that means checking first before heading over and getting your grub on.

What do you think Guilty Eaters? Are we hitting up the Chick-fil-A drive thru on Martin Luther King Jr. Day or do we have other plans for our fast food fix? What do you snag when you head to Chick-fil-A? We want to know.
