Netflix has decided to cancel Paris Hilton’s Cooking with Paris after only one season. Needless to say, we’re very disappointed! Why has it been canceled?

Cooking with Paris sees Paris Hilton try to create various dishes with the assistance of a celebrity pal. In the first season, the guests that join Paris include BFF Kim Kardashian, the hilarious Nikki Glaser, Demi Lovato, Saweetie, and others. These are pretty big names that you’d think would attract enough attention. Guilty Eats watched the show right away, we love Paris Hilton and we love cooking shows, so it’s the best of both worlds!

If you loved The Simple Life, you likely loved Cooking with Paristoo. She’s just so fun and brings back that personality, and each guest had a lot to offer, too. I particularly loved Nikki Glaser’s episode.

Why was Cooking with Paris canceled?

Cooking with Paris stood out from other cooking shows and was a lot of fun to watch and had so much potential. So why did Netflix cancel it? Deadline broke the cancelation news, but the source doesn’t offer a reason. That said, we can assume Netflix canceled the show for the same reason it cancels most shows — lack of viewers.

It’s possible that Cooking with Paris simply did not attract the audience number Netflix was aiming for in order to keep the cooking show going. And if that’s the case, what a shame! I wish the streaming platform would have promoted the show a bit more and pushed it in front of more eyes.

We can still get our dose of Paris Hilton on Peacock in her reality series Paris in Love, which documents Paris Hilton’s journey to her wedding.

Were you a fan of Cooking with Paris? Are you disappointed by the news or did you see it coming?
