Little Caesars announces the new Batman Calzony
By D. Goodman
No has ever accused Little Caesars of being pizza traditionalists. When it comes to their menu and creating new items, they pretty much throw the rulebook out the window and do whatever they want. It’s why their fans are considered some of the most hardcore in fast food.
Take for example the Crazy Calzony. Introduced last August for a limited time, it was one part pepperoni pizza, one part pepperoni calzone and 100 percent delicious. No one had seen anything quite like so of course the Crazy Calzony was a huge hit.
Fans were left wondering if they would ever see the like of the Crazy Calzony again. Well. Wonder no longer. Little Caesars has announced that the Crazy Calzony is back, but with a serious twist. Or, if you want, a serious Bat-twist.
As reported by the pizza fans over at Chewboom, in conjunction with the new Warner Bros. film The Batman Little Caesars has announced the arrival of the new Batman Calzony. Think the Crazy Calzony but with lots and lots more Batman.
What does the Little Caesars Batman Calzony include anyway?
The Batman Calzony includes a calzone crust filled with garlic sauce, cheese and pepperoni as well as a Little Caesars classic pepperoni pizza. And the whole thing is in the shape of the iconic Batman symbol. Hence the name Batman Calzony. It also includes a side of Crazy Sauce for good measure.
But the best part? This once in a lifetime meal will only set you back eight bucks, which frankly is a steal. It is available to order through the Little Caesars app anytime as well as in person between the hours of 4 and 8 PM.
Not enticing enough? Little Caesars also has the Batman Calzony Meal Deal available. You get all the above plus an order of Crazy Bread and a 2-liter Pepsi for $11.49. Beat that.
The Batman Calzony is only available for a limited time so enjoy it while you can. And we would be remiss if we didn’t remind you that The Batman opens in theaters everywhere on March 4.
