Thirsty Thursday drink recipe roundup for 1/27
Welcome back to this week’s edition of Thirsty Thursday, where we round up some of the most delicious drink recipes! Can you believe that January is almost over? We are 27 days into the new year, and it’s almost time for the loveliest holiday of them all — Valentine’s Day!
No matter how you’re celebrating, these drinks are perfect for solo drinkers, but they also go well with the person — or people — that you love the most.
With Valentine’s Day approaching, let’s look at some delicious and fun mixed drink recipes for the heartwarming holiday!
Did you know that Sparkling Ice water is the ideal ingredient for all kinds of cocktails and mocktails? Aside from tasting delicious on their own, their myriad of flavors makes Sparkling Ice a go too for mixed drinks. Plus, Sparkling Ice is affordable — meaning you won’t break the bank creating new drinks, such as their Love Potion cocktail! You can pair this with any vodka you want, and voila! The perfect potion for romance.

Our friends at Duke & Dame know the importance of celebrating. While this Sunday Drive might sound like a brunch drink, this light peach-colored drink would also be perfect for any Valentine’s Day meal! As an added bonus this drink is very easy to make — it took me less than 5 minutes to create this!
"SUNDAY DRIVE2 oz Duke & Dame1 oz Aperol2 oz Fresh Grapefruit JuiceShake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into glass over fresh ice. Garnish w/ grapefruit slice."
Malibu Rum is a staple in my bar. This delicious rum has made every get-together at my place livelier, and Malibu tastes great in mixed drinks, and by itself. I love using them in drink recipes, and this Cranberry Lemonade is easy to make, and with its pale red color, the drink just screams light-hearted romance.
"Malibu Cranberry LemonadeIngredients:● 1 part Malibu Original● 1/2 part Cranberry juice● 1 ½ parts Lemon sodaHow To Mix: Fill a chilled glass with ice cubes. Pour in Malibu and cranberry juice. Top up with lemon soda and a wedge of lemon."
I’m a fan of root beer floats, and think they are a sweet way to end a sweet day! I’ve made this concoction myself a few times, and both my boyfriend and I agree — this is a delicious take on a classic! This is one of the easiest drinks we make in my home as well. You’ll need your root beer of choice, a pint of Serendipity’s Cookies and Cream Remix, and a bottle of 99 Proof Root beer. For this recipe, it’s best to have the small shot bottles of 99 Proof. Grab any 8-ounce glass, scoop some Cookies and Cream Remix into the glass, fill the glass halfway to the top with root beer, and top it off with 99 Proof Root beer. I promise this is a decadent treat!
