If you’re planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, or are in Orlando for a little fun (or hey, maybe you live there!) then chances are you know about the Coca-Cola Store in Disney Springs. This beautiful store offers two levels of shopping, and the third level boasts an impressive rooftop Coke bar that overlooks Disney Springs. You can also meet the Coke bear himself, but currently, the bear is in hibernation! I was in Orlando a week ago enjoying some snacks from the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, but I made sure to run over to Disney Springs before I left!
Buying Coke merchandise might seem a bit much for some, but the items here were pretty unique, even with Coke branding. I bought my mom Coke Bear slippers, while I picked up three mystery bags that were behind the counter. You can purchase all three bags (small, medium, and large) for $17, making this an affordable and fun souvenir. The small bag came with four mechanical pencils, the medium came with an Orlando/Coke shot glass, and the large came with a Bluetooth speaker. Personally, I found these to be a little underwhelming, but they are admittedly cute.
But now onto the real star of this store — the rooftop bar! First, the view from up here is beautiful. You get an aerial shot overlooking Planet Hollywood, as well as the Characters in Flight hot air balloon ride, and AMC Theater.
The Coke Store in Disney Springs boasts unique Coke items, but an even more unique view of Disney Springs!
To go along with the view, there are dozens of Coke branded items to pick from — including flavors from around the world. You can also find a few mixed drinks, including a limited-time 50th Anniversary Blueberry Shimmery Bellini, celebrating Walt Disney World’s 50th birthday! This Bellini is made with blueberry and pomegranate flavored AHA sparkling water, elderflower liqueur, sparkling rose, and lemon juice.
I also ordered a chocolate Coke, which included Coke, chocolate syrup, rum, and whipped cream on top. Both of these drinks were outstanding, but the Bellini was the winner. The Bellini was sweet, flavorful, and the purple hue was lovely. The chocolate Coke tasted great, but the whipped cream did weigh it down.
The line for this rooftop bar goes fairly quickly, and expect crowds during peak seasons and weekends. I usually like to come here right when it opens, so I can truly enjoy myself and the view. This is also one of the more affordable places in the Walt Disney World Resort.
