When does the Shamrock Shake return to McDonald’s?

There are some menu items that we just consider to be a classic. They are timeless and delicious. And in some cases, they are downright iconic. For many of us, the Shamrock Shake at McDonald’s is no exception.

Every year, we eagerly wait to find the Shamrock Shake back on the menu at McDonald’s. And while this shake is seasonal, typically arriving in time for us to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, before going away again for months on end, this is still a favorite for many of us.

So the big question we have as we head into the middle of February and the upcoming arrival of Shamrock Shake season as McDonald’s is when exactly does this delicious treat return to the menu? Luckily for us, McDonald’s has the answer!

McDonald’s announces the return of the Shamrock Shake and his tasty partner the OREO Shamrock McFlurry

In a press release from McDonald’s, they revealed three very important things, the return date of the Shamrock Shake, the return of their OREO Shamrock McFlurry, and the hex code of the season so that you can spread the Shamrock love in style.

The biggest news is of course the fact that the Shamrock Shake will be available starting on February 21 for a limited time. And of course, the OREO Shamrock McFlurry will be right there with it.

Plus, if you want to shamROCK the color of the season, the official hex code for this delicate green is #cbf2ac. But there is even more to discover with the arrival of the Shamrock Shake and its official hex code.

"When the Shamrock Shake and OREO® Shamrock McFlurry make their return to U.S. menus later this month, show us how you’re celebrating with #cbf2ac and #ShamrockShakeSZN! ️And starting Feb. 21, our Shamrock green hex code just might unlock another tasty secret. That is, if you know where to look. Be one of the first to figure out the mystery and you could get a little something special from us."

That’s right, this year there is also a bit of a mystery to go along with the return of our favorite sweet treat. And we really are here for it all.

So while we will be heading straight to the closest McDonald’s on February 21, it looks like we will also be doing a little hexing too.
