Breakfast foods, if done right, can sometimes set you up for the rest of the day. Sometimes, just the most hearty of breakfast foods can make one so full that they don’t wanna eat for the rest of the day. To me, that just means that a place’s breakfast is so good that it makes you wanna savor all of the flavors, and not only that, but the memories that were made as well.

What breakfast foods and breakfast places are the most popular in your home area? Let’s talk!

Next up, let’s travel on over to Massachusetts and Michigan for some early morning deliciousness!

21. Massachusetts

Breakfast Place: The Breakfast Klub

Featured Dish: Steak Bomblette

This place is simple. Daily specials. Classic favorites. Menu that changes. I mean, come on…what more could you want?! There are a ton of different food options, whether you like your first morning meal of the day to be savory or sweet; there are also a ton of different drinks to choose from as well, whether you like your classic morning coffee, some hot tea, chocolate milk, or even something that I’ve never even personally heard of called a Galao – upon doing some research over here, I figured out that it was a foamed milk with espresso drink originating from Portugal.

Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their Steak Bomblette! It is one of their most famous 3-egg omelets! Here’s what it deliciously consists of: steak, cheese, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Not a fan of all those veggies? Try creating your own Breakfast Wrap that you can add all the meats, all the cheeses and skip the veggies (although sometimes, veggies are absolutely delicious in an omelet…just sayin’…

Have you tried this delicious morning treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

22. Michigan

Breakfast Place: Brasserie Amie

Featured Dish: Saucisson + Lentilles

This is probably a place that you might not expect to come out of a Midwestern state; however, given that they are so close, and are neighbors with Canada, some French flavors definitely come to life in this state. There are some delicious French favorites on this menu, most of which I’ve never even heard of before; however, I love trying new foods and different cuisines, so this place would definitely be for me, and not to far a drive from my hometown in NE Illinois! Woohoo!

Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their Saucisson + Lentilles! This is something that, for me, I wouldn’t expect to see on a breakfast menu. Here’s what it deliciously and interestingly consists of: grilled sausage, French lentils, and poached eggs. Now, this one’s for you Mom! Let’s try making this at home, what do ya say?
