OMG, y’all. We are nearing the home stretch of your trip around the country, our home nation (to some of us, that is) of breakfast places. Not quite impressed (okay, Shania, we hear you) yet, then check these next couple of places out down below, that’s for dang sure!

Outside of your home state or home town, tell us your most fave breakfast place around!

Next up, let’s travel on over to Ohio and Oklahoma for some early morning deliciousness!

35. Ohio

Breakfast Place: Hang Over Easy

Featured Dish: Angry Egg

This place just seems like the perfect place to go, and it’s actually perfectly placed too as well, for college students to go to. As their merch states: “With breakfast, all hangovers are curable.” If you believe in that, cool. Try out this place! If you don’t, that’s still pretty cool too. Still try this place out nonetheless!

Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their Angry Egg! First of all, when I saw the name of this particular menu item, I thought that was going to involve something spicy; however, here’s what it deliciously, and mildly flavored, consists of: two eggs (any style of your choice), with hoe fries (still not sure what these are – I imagine they are Hang Over Easy’s version of home fries, breakfast potatoes, or hashbrowns of some sort), and toast. It also comes with an additional side of pancakes or French toast! Hard choice if ya ask me!

36. Oklahoma

Breakfast Place: Waffle Champion

Featured Dish: Migas & S’Mores Waffles

This is a waffle house. What does that mean, exactly? Almost anything and everything on the menu has something to do with a waffle of some sort, albeit savory or sweet. So whatever you just so happen to be in the mood for, you’re in luck – as long as you love waffles, of course!

Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their Migas and S’Mores Waffles! First up on the list is the Migas! What is this exactly? Well…it’s in the Waffle Sandwiches category of the menu, and here’s what it deliciously and uniquely consists of: house chorizo, farm egg scramble, tomatillo salsa, spicy crema (ooh, never had this gotta try it for myself), and finally topped all off with some delicious crispy tortilla strips. Second up on the list is the S’Mores Waffles! It sounds tooth-ache sweet, but in all honestly, let’s all be honest over here: we all love a moment like that once in a while, and here’s what it deliciously and richly consists of: torched marshmallow(s), chocolate ganache, and graham cracker crumble. Simple enough for me! Woohoo!
