What’s your number one, all-time favorite breakfast dish or side? Let’s chat!

Next up, let’s travel on over to Pennsylvania and Rhode Island for some early morning deliciousness!

Breakfast Place: Screen Door

Featured Dish: Chicken + Waffles

This place has two personal locations on the  East Side and in the Pearl District of the area as well. Menus vary slightly, most likely, so be sure to check with each on certain menu items if you’re just a bit unsure. It is first come, first serve when it comes to both dine-in and take-out. Also, they not only serve brunch, but they do serve dinner and desserts as well – so enough for both, as well as something for people who either like to eat later at dinner or like to get up early for breakfast, brunch, and lunch nonetheless!

Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their Chicken + Waffles! This is a classic especially on over at the Pearl District location, so be sure to try some from 9-2 anyday of the week and weekends as well! Here’s what it deliciously and stick to your ribs yummy consists of: your choice of 1, 2, or 3 pieces of Screen Door’s famous and classic buttermilk fried chicken breasts – perfect to choose from if you’re sharing with someone – Mom, I’m talking to you – wanna share some?!, sweet potato waffle (interesting, never tried one, I’m intrigued now), and finally, some ever so classic (maple) syrup(s), of course! Sounds big – eat up!

Have you tried this delicious morning treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

38. Pennsylvania

Breakfast Place: Chat ‘n Chew

Featured Dish: Geno the Italian Omelet

This place is that famous out in Blakeslee, PA, that they sell merch. And by merch, I mean sauces and jams and things like that that were so famous and delicious that people wanted to take it on home with them. Here’s what they sell (4 things in total): Blazin Habanero Ketchup, Pocono Mountains Black Bear Jam, Frog Jam, and finally, Chipotle Crushed Pepper Sauce. Want Any, Dad?!

Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their Geno the Italian Omelet! So, while they do serve both breakfast and lunch, this particular menu item has lunch/dinner themed ingredients; however, it’s a breakfast themed menu item, and here’s what it deliciously, uniquely, and mouth-wateringly consists of: Italian sausage, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and provolone cheese. Not something I typically see in a (breakfast) omelet; however, I really wanna try it, so I’m definitely gonna make it for myself at home, since I won’t be in PA anytime soon! Who’s in with me? Who wants some? Let me know! Let’s eat!
