We’re just in the beginning of our list here of the top breakfast joints in each state in the US. There are so many different ways to do breakfast; some involve eggs and bacon, while other may involve something totally and completely unexpected (to say the least)!

Which state do you live in, and what’s your personal fave breakfast place?! Let’s eat!

Next up, let’s travel on over to Arizona and Arkansas for some early morning deliciousness!

3. Arizona

Breakfast Place: Hash Kitchen

Featured Dish: Hangover Short Rib Hash and Cannoli Donuts

When you Google a menu of this place, you’ll notice one word over (almost) the entire website: brunch. That being said, you know for a fact that this joint will have equal parts amazingly delicious drinks and food.

Let’s talk about two of their breakfast dishes that sound so good: Hangover Short Rib Hash and Cannoli Donuts! First, up, here’s what’s in the Short Rib Hash dish that is honestly making my mouth water: short ribs braised for 5 hours straight, jalapeño corn bread and potato-based hash, mozzarella cheese, poached eggs, fried onion rings, and if all of that wasn’t enough, there is also a demi hollandaise sauce that is served on top (or on the side if you prefer more). As far as the cannoli donuts go, all donuts are fried-to-order, sweet home-made cannoli cream, and powdered sugar on top. En. Joy.

Have you tried this delicious morning treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

4. Arkansas

Breakfast Place: Mud Street Cafe

Featured Dish: Mud Muffin(s)

First of all, you just know that this place is going to be good just because of the fact that they serve grits. Personally, I’m a huge grits lover, so any time a place serves them, it’s only up from there with the rest of the menu (comment down below if you agree – and I know that you do).

Let’s talk about their Mud Muffin(s)! Before I even looked at the description first, I thought that this was going to be some sort of warm chocolate chip muffin (don’t know why, but it just did); however, I was totally (and deliciously, for that matter) wrong. Here’s what it consists of: an English muffin, scrambled eggs and cheese, sprouts, mayo, and freshly sliced tomatoes. This sounds like their feature in house special, just based off of the name alone. Try it!
