What is THE BEST thing to drink at breakfast? Coffee!? Chocolate Milk?!
Next up, let’s travel on over to Rhode Island and South Carolina for some early morning deliciousness!
39. Rhode Island
Breakfast Place: The Classic Cafe
Featured Dish: Hash Benedict
This place is located on the corner or a busy downtown street, so patrons frequent it often! That’s some good and delicious business for them, am I right or what?! Anyways……whether you’re looking for some classic favorites or some classic faves with just a but of a twist to them, The Classic Cafe’s got ya covered, so no need to fret, folks! Get ready and eat up…a lot!
Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their Hash Benedict! Just a bit slightly off from a normal eggs benedict, here’s what this delicious twist differently consists of: 2 poached eggs, house-made hash, all on an English muffin and, let me tell ya, smothered in hollandaise sauce, and served with your choice of a potato. Don’t want all that sauce? No worries at all – just ask for it on the side instead! Options, options, options!
Have you tried this delicious morning treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!
40. South Carolina
Breakfast Place: Sunflower Cafe
Featured Dish: Sweet Pecan Waffles & Beignets
Upon looking at some photos of this place, it looks super sweet and homey. There is a small little marque outside stating that they are going 16 years and counting – way to go! It’s a small little place that it loved large by those who come from traveling afar and locals alike! Let’s dive into it!
Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their Sweet Pecan Waffles and Beignets! First up on the list is the Sweet Pecan Waffles! First of all, it does sound delicious by the name of it alone; however, here’s what it also deliciously consists of: topped with some warm and delicious banana syrup – sounds like some banana bread flavors for breakfast if you ask me! Second up on the list is the Beignets! Now, yes, we totally understand that this is typically a New Orleans type of fare; however, according to locals as well as their website, they are pretty good, so here’s what they deliciously consist of: fried dough and we are assuming a s*** ton of powdered sugar (by the way, if you ever get some from Café Dumonde in New Orleans, don’t wear black bbecause it’ll end up looking like you’re wearing white and I love that about them)!
