So far, which of these breakfast joints that we’ve talked about have you already heard about or been to? Also, if you still didn’t like any of our choices here, hopefully the “W” states won’t disappoint with these last 4 spots to hit across the US! By the way, let us know if you decide to travel the country and try them all – now, wouldn’t that be fun?!

Which of these breakfast places sounds the MOST intriguing to you?!

Next up, let’s travel on over to Washington and West Virginia for some early morning deliciousness!

47. Washington

Breakfast Place: Geraldine’s Counter Restaurant

Featured Dish: Geraldine’s Homemade Granola

According to the Seattle Eater, Geraldine’s was voted the “best breakfast Seattle for takeout and delivery”. Wow…what a statement, but in all honesty, from the looks of the menu, photos and customer reviews/testimonies, it certainly deserves it, so be sure to eat up when you’re here! I mean come on…can a place really be that bad anyways that shares a name with my Nonna? Absolutely…not! Let’s eat, let’s go!

Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their Geraldine’s Homemade Granola! Now, I know what most, if not all of you are probably thinking…granola, seriously, how boring?! However, here’s what both deliciously and excitingly consists of: house-made granola with almonds, dried fruit, coconut, and toppecd with vanilla bean yogurt! Sounds super yummy and light and delicious to me! Definitely something different for me to order, but I definitely would just based off of that description of the dish alone! Their award titles were right!

Have you tried this delicious morning treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

Breakfast Place: Butter It Up!

Featured Dish: The Porkey Pig Omelet

Here at Butter It Up!, while it is a breakfast joint (for the most part at least), they do also serve more lunch or dinner style meal plans as well which includes items, such as Cream of Mushroom Chicken and Rice and/or Marinated Grilled Chicken that you can take home and eat/cook in the comfort of your very own home alike!

Now, for what we’ve all been most importantly waiting for…let’s talk about their The Porkey Pig Omelet! First of all, before I tell you what’s actually in here, what do you think is in here? I was under the assumption that it would be loaded with meat, but here’s the pleasant surprise and what it’s quite surprisingly filled with/consists of: local (oh, yes) sausage, goat cheese (one of the elite cheeses if you ask me personally don’t come at me, sorry), and sauteéd peppers and onions. By the way for a little fun fact here: all of their omelets come made with not two but three free range eggs and are served with home fries and an orange slice (to make you feel better about what you just ordered and are about to eat)! Yummy! Yumm-oh!
