The best breakfast places in every state
So far, we’ve visited a ton of different states with a ton of different breakfast options, ranging all the way from seafood omelets to fresh fruit bowls and lots and lots of gravy involved either way!
Which breakfast places are the most popular in your hometown area!? Stories?!
Next up, let’s travel on over to Iowa and Kansas for some early morning deliciousness!
15. Iowa
Breakfast Place: Bluebird Diner
Featured Dish: Bluebird Eggs
If you go to their website, they state that they offer twists on some delicious breakfast classics. They essentially serve what they call Midwestern Soul Food, which I mean, come on, we can all love and appreciate on some (if not all) mornings!
Now…let’s talk about their Bluebird Eggs! This, just based off of the title alone, seems to be their classic breakfast egg-based dish. Here’s what it consists of:
- Two Eggs (any style of choice)
- Hashbrowns
- Your Choice of Meat (from Double-Smoked Ham, Pecan Wood-Smoked Bacon, or Two House Sausage Patties)
Here are some other options that seem delicious to try and eat as well:
- Chicken Fried Steak
- The St. Blue – their take on a deliciously classic Breakfast Sandwich
- Chorizo and Eggs
Have you tried this delicious morning treat yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!
16. Kansas
Breakfast Place: Banjo’s Cafe
Featured Dish: Biscuits & Gravy
Most things here are made fresh in-house on the daily. This includes their biscuits that seem to be a delicious feature in quite a few of their dishes here on their menu. Banjo’s prides itself on serving up some delicious home-cooking that makes you feel like nothing but family at their establishment!
Now…let’s talk about their Biscuits & Gravy! Much like we’ve already previously mentioned up above, their biscuits are made fresh each morning, and their sausage gravy is also made fresh in house, creamy, with a tiny bit of a kick and super delicious meaty flavor(s) at hand.
Here’s another option to try while dining their at their lovely family-oriented eating establishment:
- Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich
- Love gravy and chicken fried steak? Why not eat it in a sandwich in between two super buttery and delicious telera buns with all of your typical burger toppings – although I personally would be just fine with just the chicken fried steak and bread; I mean who wouldn’t be, am I right?!
