Jack in the Box is raging against the idea of the broken ice cream machine. And ahead of St. Patrick’s Day, they are stepping up to the plate to get us a shake. In fact, as part of their “Don’t Get McShammed,” we can get our hands on the perfect take on a mint shake.

Starting on March 3, fans of the Shamrock Shake can head on over to their closest Jack in the Box to get their hands on the new Oreo Cookie Mint Shake. It’s the “McBroken” takeover (see below for more on this) we never knew we needed in our lives.

While we have long been fans of the classic Shamrock Shake thanks to its cool, minty goodness, we have certainly found ourselves disappointed when we pulled up to those drive thrus only to hear the devastating words, “our ice cream machine is broken.” And that is what Jack in the Box wants to combat – the crushing disappointment of no Shamrock Shake!

According to the press email we received,

"In a flurry of rage over broken McFlurry machines, Jack in the Box and www.McBroken.com have come together to support sweet-teeth searching for their dream shake. Jack in the Box is taking over the McBroken site for the month of March, helping point shake-starved citizens in the right direction to their closest Jack in the Box and get through their McDisappointment by trying Jack’s limited edition Oreo Cookie Mint Shake."

Basically, they are doing the work of the foodie! They are making magic happen for all of us by making sure that we can all enjoy the shake of March.

And as an added bonus to this entire release and collaboration, if you download the Jack in the Box app you can actually get a $2 discount on the new Oreo Cookie Mint Shake with the code McShammed. Seriously, we love saving money and this is definitely one of those deals we can get behind.

Considering Jack in the Box already has an Oreo Cookie Shake on their menu, we know we can count on them to deliver the goods. And by adding in the mint flavor we love, they are helping us all satisfy our Shamrock Shake needs.
