When most people think of Perdue, they think of chicken. The company has long been known for their cut no corners approach to manufacturing and selling their poultry products in all the various forms it come in, including their popular breaded bite size varieties.

Odds are that when you watched the Super Bowl a few weeks ago, there was some form of Perdue chicken included with all the snacks. Whether that took the form of wings or maybe boneless tenders, you likely enjoyed the heck out of it.

Now just in time for March Madness, the company has announced a limited edition offering that may seem out of the box for Perdue. Instead of chicken, they are jumping into the pulled pork game with a new bite sized snack that should prove very popular.

According to the press email we received here at Guilty Eats Headquarters, Perdue is going to begin selling BBQ Seasoned Pulled Pork Bites.

Only 500 bags of the Perdue BBQ Seasoned Pulled Pork Bites will be available.

The new BBQ Seasoned Pulled Pork Bites include pork sourced from small family farmers with no antibiotics, hormones or steroids in keeping with the company’s values. They are breaded and flavored with BBQ sauce and sharp cheddar cheese and look like they’re delicious.

How much of a limited edition are these? Only 500 bags will be available for purchase at PerdueFarms.com. So yes, that is an exceedingly limited edition. However, if they prove popular there is every chance we may see them on sale again down the road.

In addition, Perdue is also announcing the release later this month of their new Perdue Chicken Handhelds. These are include diced white meat chicken mixed with herbs and come wrapped in baked bread. The best part? They’re ready to eat when thawed, no microwave needed.
