New Nestle Toll House bize-sized baking truffles coming soon
Nestle Toll House chocolate chip cookies have been a classic for decades. Chances are, the first time you made chocolate chip cookies, it was the Toll House recipe on the back of the chocolate chip package. And they are a classic for a reason; they’re delicious. But sometimes you want to add something a little bit different to your cookies and luckily, the baking brand has the answer to that as well.
Toll House is bringing back their Bite-Sized Filled Baking Truffles but in new flavors and with new packaging! This June you’ll want to be on the lookout for Chocolate Lava Cake Baking Truffles and Caramel Dulce de Leche Baking Truffles. Yum!
The Chocolate Lave Cake truffles will feature a chocolate shell and a fluffy and smooth chocolate center. The Caramel Dulce de Leche variety will have the same chocolate shell but will be filled with caramel. It’s like putting small pieces of your favorite candy bar into whatever you’re making. What could be better than that?
So when you’re baking cookies, brownies, pancakes, or muffins, now you can mix in these little truffles for a new twist. Imagine serving chocolate chip pancakes with these. Who wouldn’t want to start their day off like that?
Toll House brings back Bite-Sized filled Baking Truffles in new flavors
I was lucky enough to try the Chocolate Lava Cake truffles and I put them in the Toll House chocolate chip cookie recipe instead of regular chocolate chips. They worked perfectly and were sweet, chocolatey, and delicious!
The truffles are about the size of a chocolate chunk so you don’t have to worry about them sinking or anything. Although, if you are putting them in a cake, muffin, or sweet bread, you might want to coat them in a little bit of flour just in case.
As for the packaging, they come in a new re-sealable bag which makes them so much easier to store. The bag also stands up on its own so chocolate won’t go spilling everywhere.
Both flavors will be available at grocery stores and mass retailers nationwide starting in June so get your oven preheated, your mixer ready, and your taste buds up and running.
