Great Chocolate Showdown season 1 just finished up on Saturday, March 19, 2022 on The CW, and a winner was crowned. The baking competition show featured some amazing chocolate creations and some incredibly talented bakers.
The premise of the show is that a group of ten bakers competed by making delicious chocolate desserts. Each week, there were two challenges. The first required them to show off a skill that one of the chef judges showed them, and the second challenge had them make a chocolate dessert based on a specific theme.
It was such a fun competition and definitely not one you want to watch while hungry. But if you missed the first season and are looking to catch up, where can you stream the baking competition show?
Despite the first season having already aired on Food Network Canada and just finishing on The CW, it’s not that easy to find. There are only a few places where it’s streaming and if you’re in the US, the options are very limited.
Great Chocolate Showdown streaming on The CW website
The easiest way to watch is through The CW website. All the episodes are currently streaming on there. Beyond that, there are a few episodes of the first season on YouTube, but who knows how long those will stay up.
Other than that, there aren’t too many places to watch the show if you live in the US. It is available to stream on Amazon Prime but only in Canada and only if you have the Stack TV add-on. Hopefully, once some time passes, Amazon Prime in the US will stream the series as well.
As for other streaming services, since The CW is owned by CBS and Warner Brothers, it could be added to Paramount Plus or HBO Max, but as of now, there is no news about whether those streaming services will add the baking competition show.
For now, fans have to keep their fingers crossed that the show lands on some streaming service that is easily accessible.
