Springtime and Easter would not be the same without PEEPS. The yellow marshmallow sugar-encrusted chicks have become a staple of the season. But the plain yellow ones aren’t the only flavors or shapes out there anymore. There are bunnies, ghosts, snowmen along with a ton of different flavors. One of those flavors is based on the classic sugary cereal, Froot Loops.

The Froot Loops PEEPS come on a stick (who doesn’t like food on a stick?) and includes four different colored marshmallow cheeks. There’s a lime green one, a bright blue one, a red one, and an orange one.

But they aren’t just marshmallow-flavored. They taste just like Froot Loops! The green is lime-flavored, the red is cherry, the orange is orange-flavored (obviously), and the blue is blueberry. And like Froot Loops, these flavors aren’t going to taste exactly like the fruits. More like the idea of fruit. Still tasty, but you’re not getting real blueberry flavor here.

You can find these pops at most places where you buy your PEEPS. They are available at Target, Meijer, and Kroger, and are $2.19 per PEEPS pop.

How you eat these is up to you. You can either eat them off the stick like a popsicle or you can take them off the stick and eat them separately.

Beyond these Froot Loop PEEPS, there are a bunch of other flavors available this Easter including cotton candy, sparkly wild berry, party cake, chocolate-dipped, caramel mocha filled, tropical burst, and even Hot Tamale. But besides the Froot Loop ones and a rainbow Peep pop, the others don’t come on a stick.

I’m definitely looking forward to trying the Hot Tamale ones, the sparkly ones (who doesn’t like glitter?), and the Froot Loop pop.

Whatever PEEPS are your favorite, you’ll want to get them by Easter as they likely won’t be around long after that and then you’ll have to wait until next year.
