Marvel has never been skimpy with their merchandise. They have action figures, clothes, shoes, cookware, and even waffle makers. They have also published a few cookbooks over the years but one of their more recent ones is the Marvel Eat the Universe: The Official Cookbook.
The cookbook first came out on July 28, 2020, and features recipes that are based on many of the characters in the Marvel universe and not only the ones you’ve seen in the movies. The book is written by Chef Justin Warner.
Some of the recipes include Storm’s Tournedos, Hulk Smashed Potatoes, Nova Space-Cop Galaxy Donuts (these look amazing!), Green Goblin Pumpkin Bombs, and Phoenix Hot Chicken and Egg Bowl. Even The Punisher’s Italian Wedding Soup.
The book consists of 60 recipes in total and is based on Marvel’s digital series, Eat the Universe. If you go to their YouTube channel, you can see many of the recipes being made.
Eat the Universe cookbook features tons of Marvel-themed recipes
The book also has pictures for almost every recipe and most even have pictures for each step. If you’re not great in the kitchen, this makes it a whole lot easier to know what you’re doing when you’re trying something out for the first time.
But let’s be honest, the best part of the book is the recipes and seeing which Marvel character they have been matched up with. There are some really fun ones like Thor’s Meat Mjollnir, Rocket’s Trash Omelette, and Loki’s Swedish Kroppakor.
Other characters that get recipes include Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Captain America, Mysterio, and Black Widow. But there are also a whole lot more.
The book is currently available on Amazon and at Target for $18.79 and at Barnes & Noble for $29.99. If you have a bookstore near you, chances are they will either have it in stock or they’ll be able to order it for you.
