Cotton Candy Blizzard returns to Dairy Queen this April
By D. Goodman
The calendar is about to flip over to April and that means a couple pretty awesome things. Spring is officially in the air. A new season of baseball is about to begin. And most relevant to what we’re going to talk about today, Dairy Queen is about to release a brand new Blizzard of the Month.
But since it’s spring, this isn’t going to be any old Blizzard. Oh no. While pretty much any flavor of Blizzard is a winner in the minds of most people, spring brings with it certain expectations. The expectation that Dairy Queen will once again add one particular Blizzard to the menu.
And according to Mashed they aren’t going to disappoint. They are reporting that Dairy Queen is bringing back the Cotton Candy Blizzard to celebrate the arrival of spring. And to make it just a bit more special, the fan favorite treat will be the April Blizzard of the Month.
The Cotton Candy Blizzard has been on and off the Dairy Queen menu for almost a decade, always making a comeback when the weather gets warm again. And fans wouldn’t have it any other way.
The Cotton Candy Blizzard will only be back at Dairy Queen for a limited time.
For those who might not be familiar with the Blizzard flavor or just don’t like fun, the Cotton Candy Blizzard takes Dairy Queen’s iconic soft serve ice cream and infuses it wilth the flavor of cotton candy. Hence the name. To finish it off it gets topped with cotton candy sprinkles and is served upside down.
Fans almost always get excited when the Cotton Candy Blizzard makes it’s seasonal return. It is easily one of the chain’s most popular flavors and much like free Rita’s Water Ice, has become synonymous with spring.
Which also means it will only be available at your local Dairy Queen for a limited time. So get you fix while you can and enjoy it while it lasts.
