Ditch the bouquet this Mother’s Day and head to Salt & Straw
Mother’s Day is almost here and that means figuring out what to give mom as a special treat. And while we could always go with the standard option of a box of chocolates and a bouquet of flowers, what if we could find something a little more interesting for mom? Luckily, Salt & Straw has the perfect solution.
Instead of a bouquet of flowers, Salt & Straw thinks mom might just like their new Flower Power Series of ice creams this Mother’s Day. And while this is not the first time they have offered Flower Power ice cream flavors, for 2022 they have two new flavors to inspire my mom’s taste buds.
According to the press email we received on behalf of Salt & Straw, “the Flower Power series features inventive, colorful flavors that are sure to brighten her mood including two brand-new flavors – Pistachio Rose Water w/ Strawberry Mochi and Saffron & Honey w/ Crystalized Flower Petals.”
Salt & Straw is giving mom a new type of flower gift this Mother’s Day
On top of the two new flavors of ice cream (Pistachio Rose Water with Strawberry Mochi and the Saffron & Honey with Crystalized Flower Petals), the other flavors mom can choose from are:
- Jasmine Milk Tea & Chocolate Almond Stracciatella (For some reason this is the one we need in our lives. It may be the chocolate and almond or just the fact that it sounds amazing, but either way we want a scoop ourselves.)
- Rhubarb Crumble w/ Toasted Anise
- Mathilde’s Hibiscus & Coconut Sherbet (This is a vegan option and we love that for those mom’s who want to skip the dairy.)
Whether you visit one of their 27 ice cream shops or have all five flavors shipped to her door in pint sizes, we think mom will love how you (and Salt & Straw) are thinking outside of the bouquet.
