Patron celebrates Cinco de Mayo with a John Geiger partnership

In honor of Cinco de Mayo this year, Patron has partnered with John Geiger, an iconic streetwear designer known for his bold work and innovations, for a limited edition collaboration. And while we may think of Cinco de Mayo as a time for Tex Mex foods, margaritas and shots of tequila, this year we have something even more inspiring to look forward to on May 5.

Inspired by the agave fields that help to bring Patron Tequila to life, fans have an opportunity to get their hands on a special pair of PATRÓN x John Geiger limited edition GF-01 sneakers!

With both the designer and the Tequila maker being known for their attention to detail and excellence in craftsmanship, it just makes sense that these two would come together to partner for a limited edition collaboration. And since this is the second time the designer and the brand have worked together on a collection, it makes perfect sense that they would come together once again for something special.

And according to the press release from Patron,

"As versatile as PATRÓN Silver tequila, these sneakers can take you from the courts to the cocktail bar, and everywhere in between. Staying true to John Geiger’s simple approach of combining versatility, style, and comfort, the co-branded kicks reflect his signature street style, enriched with his ‘g’ logo, while uniquely incorporating imagery of the iconic PATRÓN bee and classic green and white colorway throughout using specialty leather inspired by agave fields in Jalisco, the heart of PATRÓN."

So what do you need to know to potentially get your hands on these very limited edition sneakers? First let’s talk price. These sneakers will cost you $250 if you can get your hands on them.

They are only available while supplies last (of course) and will only be available on the John Geiger website. The sneakers will drop on May 5/Cinco de Mayo (of course) starting at 5 p.m. ET. (We love that this is drop is happening later in the day as it just feels more fair for everyone to have an opportunity to get their hands on these sneakers.)
