Pressed is a well-known brand in the health and wellness industry, most notably for their cold-pressed juices, smoothies, shots and smoothie bowls. They have juice bar locations throughout the country which sell these products.

Pressed was started in 2010 by three friends who, according to the company website, “bonded over a shared belief that fundamental nutrition is the cornerstone of health and wellness. A vibrant, healthy lifestyle begins with real, nutrient-rich food.”

Pressed expands their menu to include non-dairy nut milks

Just last month, Pressed added blended non-dairy global nut milks to their menu.  In a recent press email we learned that the new flavors include:

"Morir Soñando: Tasting like an orange creamsicle, this drink is uniquely-Dominican and includes a delicious blend of orange, coconut cream, cashews and carrot along with a dash of cinnamon & sea salt. This blend is a perfect dinner drink or mid-afternoon snack.Horchata Azul: Topping the list of favorite Mexican drinks, this milk is a delicious base of coconut cream instead of milk and a boost of spirulina. This is one of the original plant-based milks and is served chilled, typically as a sweet snack after lunch.Saffron Badam: A traditional Indian beverage which includes a warming blend of almond & walnuts along with spices like curry powder, turmeric, ginger, black pepper, cardamom and saffron extract. This blend makes a great afternoon snack or warmed up before bed."

Pressed sent me samples of the new non-dairy global nut milks to try. I love the global ingredients that have influenced the flavors. The nut milks are very colorful and I was surprised, although the name does give a clue, that the Horchata Azul is in fact blue! My favorite flavor was the Morir Soñando. The flavors of orange and cinnamon were very prominent and did indeed remind me of an orange creamsicle.  These nut milks will be great as a snack at work. They contain a mix of protein, fat and fiber which can help keep me satiated between meals.

The company offers a sampler set which can be ordered on their website and includes all three of the flavors. For those that enjoy Pressed products often, make sure you sign up for a free VIP membership. You’ll earn points towards free beverages and snacks.

For a limited time, you can also get a Golden Rose Freeze Sundae at all Pressed Freeze locations. According to the press email, the sundae is, “a delightfully refreshing swirl of strawberry puree, apple puree, agave, and rosé wine flavor (totally wine-free) is topped with chocolate, strawberries and a sprinkle of gold dust.” How heavenly does this sound?!
