Ted Lasso star Cristo Fernández shares which treats Dani Rojas would get from 7-Eleven

I think it’s safe to say that 7-Eleven is our go-to convenience store for everyone here at Guilty Eats. I mean, is there anything the store doesn’t have? From all sorts of drinks, snacks, and even meals, 7-Eleven is truly a one-stop shop for your guilty eats needs (and a personal favorite stop for road trips). In a recent interview, Ted Lasso star Cristo Fernández shared with us his favorite 7-Eleven treats and chatted with us about his partnership with the store and Rocket League.

Cristo Fernández was a joy to chat with! The actor portrays Dani Rojas in the Apple TV+ hit series Ted Lasso, a fan favorite character! Needless to say, we were super excited to learn Fernández partnered up with 7-Eleven as we love when our two favorite things combine — food and TV!

In our interview, which you can read in full HERE, we asked Fernández to share more about his partnership with Rocket League. Here’s the scoop: 

"“I’m very excited about this partnership because 7-Eleven has always been the go-to convenience store for me and my friends back in Mexico. It’s a place where I would always go and get things we forgot for the BBQ. And now, with partnership with Rocket League…I love video games, especially in recent years with the pandemic, so Rocket League is a video game that combines both cars and football. I’m into cars and football…football has been my life [laughs]. It’s a video game I really enjoy playing.”"

We, of course, had to ask Fernández about his favorite go-to 7-Eleven snacks:  

"“I’m really into Cheetos, the cheese ones. They remind me of my grandma, I loved sharing them with her. I also love Doritos and Snickers bars.”"

You can’t go wrong with regular Cheetos, they are the OG of snacks. And Snickers bars? Yes, please! The actor also shared that he loves the Cherry Slurpee from 7-Eleven, which we can see him sipping on during the Rocket League match.

The actor has great taste, but what would his character, Dani Rojas, grab from 7-Eleven?

"“Haha! He [Dani Rojas] would love chicharrones and I think he would love quesadillas, just lots of cheese. Oh, and a Slurpee! And cookies and cream ice cream [laughs].”"

Now, “chicharrones” are also known as pork rinds, and they come in many different flavors. They are an underrated treat, and, most are low in calories, which is why Fernández believe Dani Rojas would love them.

Cristo Fernández shares that he is currently filming Ted Lasso season 3 and couldn’t be more excited about the script and being back with the cast and crew!
