When you hear that Ritz crackers and Oreo are collaborating on a new treat, it makes sense, right? They both make sandwich-type snacks with their crackers and cookies, respectively. They both offer round treats that are delicious. But I’m guessing you never would have thought of the new snack they are introducing on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

Oreo and Ritz are literally combining forces and creating a new cracker/cookie (crookie??) treat. One part is a Ritz cracker with smooth peanut butter on it and the other half is an Oreo cookie with their signature creme. They are smashed together to make one very interesting salty and sweet combination.

How do you get this new creation? On May 26, at 12 p.m. EST, you need to visit the Oreo/Ritz website. Once there, simply put in your information and you can get one free pack. You only need to pay the $3.95 shipping. And you’re going to want to be there at noon because these are limited-edition and they’re going to go fast.

The flavor combination may be questionable, but when has that ever stopped people from grabbing free food?

I understand the salty and sweet combination but I just don’t know about the Ritz cracker and the Oreo creme. Those two in the same bite…seems suspect. But the chocolate cookie, creme, and peanut butter definitely go together. People have been putting peanut butter on top of Oreos for generations.

Beyond this new treat, Ritz and Oreo will also be releasing an Instagram filter next week that tells you exactly how salty and sweet you are. And if you get a package of these new treats, you can also access the filter through a QR code on the package.

Will you be picking up a box of this new collab? What do you think of this flavor combination? Let us know in the comments below!
