Sonic announces new Summer Snacking Menu

If you have left the house at all this year to buy pretty much anything, then you are well aware how much inflation has increased the prices on just about everything you use on a daily basis. Unfortunately this also includes the meals you buy at restaurants like Sonic.

Additionally, if you are a fast food fan, then you also know that pretty much every chain has an app that they call their very own. We can’t think of any nowadays that doesn’t have an app of some kind they want you to install on your phone.

So leave it to Sonic to decide to use their app to try and save their fans some money. And if this works, they may find they have a bunch of new fans as well.

New Sonic Summer Snacking Menu is only available on their app.

According to the press email we received, Sonic has taken the wraps of their new promotion called the Summer Snacking Menu. It is a rotating menu of items available only through their app that combine variety with value. They start at just $1.49, which is a steal when compared to most prices these days.

For June, the Summer Snacking Menu includes Totchos, Pickle Fries, the popular Sonic Corn Dog as well as Ice Cream Floats.

As an added bonus, Sonic has also announced the return of the Grilled Cheese Double Burger to the menu. It includes two beef patties and three slices of American cheese all between two pieces of Texas Toast.

According to Chief Marketing Officer Lori Abou Habib:

"“We know that Sonic is a summer oasis for many of our loyal fans, and now we’re making it even better with exclusive on-the-go menu options that are available only in the Sonic App. The App provides our guests new benefits and savings every time they visit their local drive-in – from exclusive access to new and returning favorites on the Summer Snacking Menu to being the first to savor limited-time items like the crave-worthy Grilled Cheese Double Burger and refreshing new beverages joining our menu later this summer.”"

Sounds like the app looks to be a key part of Sonic’s plans going forward.

So if you have a craving for some Sonic this summer, now is the time to download the app and get in on the summer snacking. Because once the leaves start to change, the Summer Snacking Menu will be gone.
