Limoncello is a beloved Italian beverage. The lemon flavored liqueur is made with macerated lemon peels that are fermented in vodka. Fabrizia brings this spirit to the masses with their all-natural Limoncello. Co-Owners/Founders and brothers, Nick and Phil Mastroiannni, were inspired to make Limoncello after Phil enjoyed his cousin’s homemade version on a trip to Italy. The company, based out of Salem, New Hampshire, started as a night and weekend operation. The side hustle has grown into a business that has expanded from creating Limoncello to also making vodka sodas, Italian-style canned cocktails and frozen cocktails.

Besides the traditional flavor, Fabrizia also makes Blood Orange, Cream and most recently, a Pistachio cream flavored Limoncello. According to the company website, their Limoncello is “Crafted by hand in small batches, [and] is produced with just four simple ingredients: the zest of 100% Sicilian lemons, alcohol, sugar, and water.”

While Limoncello is traditionally served chilled and straight up, Fabrizia has a library of cocktail recipes on their website if you are interested in mixing things up.

Their Limoncello is also used in their line of  Italian-style canned cocktails. These ready-to-drink beverages are available in three flavors: Margarita, Lemonade and Breeze. They are non-carbonated drinks that are made with Limoncello, lemonade and either tequila or vodka.

Additionally, Fabrizia makes ready-to-drink canned vodka sodas in Sicilian Lemon, Blood Orange and Raspberry flavors. They are made with sparkling water, vodka and juice. The juice in these beverages comes from imported Sicilian lemons, fresh blood oranges and raspberries.

Fabrizia sent us samples of their Limoncello, ready-to-drink cocktails, and vodka sodas. So far, we have sampled the Fabrizia Italian Style Lemonade and the Sicilian Lemon Vodka Soda. The Italian Style Lemonade is refreshing and lemony with just a hint of alcohol flavor. The Lemon Vodka Soda was bubbly and was full of lemon flavor. With their light and citrus-filled flavor, these are great summer beverages.

During the pandemic, Fabrizia expanded their offerings and started the Lemon Baking Company. This division of the company makes all kinds of baked goods, including biscotti, cookies, lemon loaf and whoopie pies. The key ingredient in all of them is, as you might expect, the company’s Limoncello.

We also got to sample their Limoncello cookies. They come tightly wrapped in a five pack. These cookies are generously sized and have a slightly crispy edge with a moist and chewy middle. They are bursting with lemon flavor! The baked goods can only be purchased on the Lemon Baking Company website.

Fabrizia beverages can be purchased online or in select retailers throughout the country.
