KFC is finger sporking good with their newest innovation

Is there anything better than a trip to KFC for an order of Original Recipe Chicken with coleslaw and mashed potatoes with gravy? Probably not.

And when it comes to the plastic utensils that we are getting to dig into those sides (including their mac & cheese or corn), the thing we expect to find in our to-go bag is the trusty spork! This cross between a spoon and a fork is the perfect tool when it comes to enjoying our KFC sides. But now, the chicken chain is taking their classic spork to a whole new level of fun!

What does this even mean? It means that now, they are offering their customers a chance to get their hands (or is it fingers) and what they are calling their new finger sporks! It is literally a spork that fits right on your fingers. But how do you get one (or two) of these innovative little tools?

As the fine folks over at Chew Boom explained, “KFC Finger Sporks are available now for free with the purchase of a KFC Sides Lovers Meal on the KFC mobile app, KFC.com or in restaurants starting June 21 through July 12, 2022, or while supplies last.

We were lucky enough to be sent our very own finger sporks from KFC and we have to say that these are amazing. They were actually really easy to use (as long as we don’t have super long nails) and they worked.

Just like with a classic spork, the finger spork was able to get every bit of the coleslaw out of the side dish container! And while it may take a little getting used to, they were the kind of fun we need in our lives right now.

These cleaned up well and were perfect for throwing right into our purse just in case we are in need of an eating utensil on the go. Basically, they were finger sporking good and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
