Five festive 4th of July cocktail recipes

Who else is ready for the long weekend? Many of us will be enjoying this 4th of July weekend with family and friends. While we are watching the parades and fireworks, we need a festive cocktail or two to sip on. We have rounded up five Independence Day cocktail recipes that can help elevate your holiday celebrations. They are all fruity and summery and some are even red, white and blue!
1. American Harvest Vodka shared this super festive martini recipe. Their vodka is organic and 100% American-made in Rigby, Idaho.
American Salute Martini
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. American Harvest Organic Vodka
4 oz. Lemonade
1 oz. Blue Curacao
1 oz. Grenadine
Method:
Pour grenadine in the bottom of a martini glass, combine lemonade and vodka in a shaker, shake then gently strain over the grenadine and float the blue curacao on top
Glassware: 1 oz. Grenadine
Garnish: Red, White and Blue sugar rim
2. Beach Whiskey’s name alone has me thinking of summer.A brand of Darco Spirits, Beach Whiskey comes in two flavors, Island Coconut and Bonfire Cinnamon. The below recipe uses the Island Coconut for a fruity and fun cocktail.
Beach Breeze
Ingredients:
1 oz. Beach Whiskey Island Coconut
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
1 oz. Pineapple Juice
TECHNIQUE:
Shake & pour over fresh ice.
3. Duke & Dame is a salted caramel flavored whiskey. How interesting does that sound?! And with a name like Red, White & Duke, this cocktail is just waiting to be made for a 4th of July celebration!

Red, White & Duke
Ingredients:
1 oz Duke & Dame
3/4 oz Hypnotiq
1/2 oz Blue Curaçao
Club soda
Fresh strawberry slices
Directions: Shake Duke & Dame, Hypnotiq, and Blue Curacao in cocktail shaker and pour into rocks glass over fresh ice. Top off with club soda. Garnish rim with strawberry slices.
4. The Strawberry Mint Spritzer cocktail uses Karma Probiotic water. This bottled water has 2 billion probiotic cultures and 100% of six essential vitamins. This is another fruity cocktail recipe that can be made into a mocktail by omitting the vodka.
Strawberry Mint Spritzer
Ingredients:
1 bottle of Karma Probiotic Water Strawberry Lemonade
8oz lemon-lime (or plain) seltzer
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
5-10oz frozen strawberries
1 ½ fluid ounces citron vodka (can also remove if you would like to keep a mocktail)
Directions (serves 3-4):
Purée frozen strawberries & add to the bottom of your serving glasses
Combine Karma Water, seltzer, citron vodka & mint in a pitcher; pour mixture over pureed strawberries
Garnish with fresh lemon & strawberries if desired & enjoy!

Summer Spr11tz

Ingredients:
1 ½ oz E11EVEN Vodka
3 cucumber slices
8 mint leaves
3 tbsp watermelon cubes
Blueberries
2 oz Brut Rosé
Club Soda
Directions:
1. Muddle cucumber, mint, & watermelon
2. Add ice & E11EVEN Vodka
3. Shake vigorously
4. Double strain over goblet filled with fresh ice
5. Add Brut Rosé & top with club soda
6. Garnish with watermelon slice and/or mint sprig and blueberries
