5 new ready-to-drink cocktails to sip all Summer

The ready-to-drink cocktail sector is exploding, and rightly so! Ready-to-drink cocktails are convenient for traveling and taking to gatherings and come in a multitude of both classic and unique flavors. Beverage makers are stepping up their game as these cocktails also taste great! New beverages are continuously being added to the market. We are sharing five of these new ready-to-drink cocktails to look out for so you can enjoy them all summer long!

Batch & Bottle

When you are hosting a summer gathering and want to whip up some tasty cocktails for your guests, give Batch & Bottle a try. There are four varieties in this new premium line of ready-to-drink cocktails:  Hendrick’s Gin Martini, Glenfiddich Scotch Manhattan, Reyka Rhubarb Cosmopolitan and Monkey Shoulder Lazy Old Fashioned.

In a press release, Paul Basford, William Grant & Sons US President and Managing Director noted, “As Master Distillers, industry leaders and cocktail aficionados, we know our spirits best, so we wanted to offer our expertise, batched for people to be able to finally enjoy bar quality cocktails at home, without the hassle. Batch & Bottle is uniquely positioned to meet consumers’ desires for premium quality drinks that they can share with their friends, with total ease of enjoyment.”

These ready-to-drink cocktails come in 375 ml bottles that only require chilling, pouring into a glass and garnishing, if you choose. Each bottle has 4-5 servings. These bottles can be purchased on Drizly or Instacart and have a suggested retail price of $16.99 each.

Casa Cantina 

Casa Cantina is Target’s new ready-to-drink craft cocktail. There are three flavors in the line: Classic Margarita, Strawberry Margarita and Piña Colada which are made with high-quality ingredients including real strawberry puree, pineapple and coconut. They are vegan, gluten-free and have no high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners and flavors.

These are the newest addition to Target Wine & Spirit Selects, a unique-to-Target collection of adult beverage brands. The cocktails are available in a 1.5 liter bottle which retail for $9.99  and a three-liter box which retails for $17.99 and are available at more than 1,200 Target stores.

MIZO Hard Lemonade Pouches

MIZO is a minority and woman-owned beverage brand. In July 2021, the company introduced a line of carbonated hard seltzers. Just this month they debuted their newest beverages, MIZO Hard Lemonade Pouches. These pouches give off Capri Sun vibes and will bring back the nostalgia of your childhood. According to a press release shared with us, “MIZO aims to bridge cultures and unite communities by creating new and refreshing drinking experiences, inspired by Asian heritage.”

MIZO is owned by Holly Paul, of Taiwanese descent, and Chris Tran, of Vietnamese descent. Their parents immigrated to the United States in the 1980’s and were able to grow some of the tropical fruits from back home. Holly and Chris have incorporated these Asian fruits from their childhood into their product lines. The new hard lemonade pouches will come in flavors like Blackberry Lychee, Mango Passionfruit and White Peach.

The MIZO Hard Lemonade Pouches are 10 ounces each and are not carbonated. They are 4.5% ABV and are 90 calories each with 4 grams of sugar. They retail for $29.99 for a  variety 12-pack and can be purchased online and at select retailers in California and Florida.

REVEL Avila Spritz

REVEL Avila Spritz is a new canned ready-to-drink cocktail from REVEL Spirits. The cocktails are made with REVEL Avila, which according to a press email is “a new agave spirit made from 100% pure blue weber agave, pretty much the love child of tequila & mezcal.”

The company is co-owned by Justin Hartley, star on the hit show This Is Us. The cocktails come in exotic flavors, which Hartley helped select, including guava + toasted coconut + kaffir lime, grapefruit + rosemary, watermelon + cucumber + cilantro and mango + Fresno chili. They come in 12-ounce cans and retail for $25.99 for a 4-pack. REVEL Avila Spritz can be purchased on Reserve Bar.

Sauza Agave Cocktails

Sauza Agave cocktails are canned malt liquor cocktails inspired by Mexican aguas frescas. According to a recent press email, “From the taste of aguas frescas in Jalisco mercados to the smell of Tulum’s tropical breezes, Sauza Agave Cocktails are bursting with tastes that embody Sauza’s Mexican roots and encourage drinkers to get busy living by experiencing moments together.” They come in four flavors:  Lime Crush, Tropical Twist, Strawberry Breeze and Black Cherry. The cocktails have 8% ABV and are made with agave nectar and real fruit.

This new line is available nationwide at large retailers like Kroger, Walmart, Publix and Total Wine. Sauza Agave cocktails can also be purchased on Drizly. The canned cocktails retail for $17.99 for a 12-can variety pack or $9.99 for a single flavor six-pack. Single 24 fluid ounce cans retail for $3.49.
