Did you know that July 17 is National Ice Cream Day? Well we did! And thanks to the most amazing collaboration between Baked by Melissa and Ample Hills ice cream we once again have the perfect sweet treat of summer. That is because the two companies have once again collaborated to give us their iconic ice cream flavor.

So what is this iconic ice cream flavor? Well it’s the Summer of Love! That’s right fans, it is the same flavor that they released the last time they collaborated. But why would they change a winner? They wouldn’t. That’s because the first time around they made magic happen.

But if you missed this flavor the first time around, you may not know what exactly the Summer of Love is. Have no fear, we have the answer. According to the Ample Hills Ice Cream homepage this is,

"A sweet cream ice cream with buttercream frosting and Baked by Melissa’s signature tie-dye cupcakes."

National Ice Cream Day is the perfect time to order the Baked by Melissa x Ample Hills Ice Cream collab

We love Baked by Melissa cupcakes, and especially their tie-dye cupcakes. And being able to enjoy it in an ice cream form is definitely next level guilty eating for us!

Plus, how can you go wrong with cupcakes and ice cream? Honestly, we don’t think you can.

We are pretty excited by the news that this collab is back in time for National Ice Cream Day, because this is another opportunity for us to try to get our hands on a pint of snacking perfection. (Although, technically these come in half pints and not full pints, so that is something to take note of when placing your order.)

But we want to know what you think. Are you excited for the return of this collaboration? Will you be ordering this flavor for yourself? Did you get a chance to try this flavor the last time it was released?
