Pizza Hut is showing their pasta menu some love for the first time since 2003

Pizza Hut might best be known for their pizzas (it’s in the name after all), but their pasta dishes are no joke either. And for the first time since 2003, they are getting a revamp.

According to the press email that we received, Pizza Hut is now using penne noodles (versus the rotini pasta used before) for their pasta dishes. They will offer pasta dishes with either a creamy Alfredo sauce or a sweet tomato sauce and all of the pasta dishes will feature a dusting of Parmesan oregano on top. As an added bonus, every order of pasta gets you five breadsticks as well.

This all sounds like a win to us, but of course that still leaves us with the question of what those pasta dishes are. Luckily, we know that There are four new recipes to fall in love with.

The four new pasta dishes are Chicken Alfredo, Italian Meats, Cheesy Alfredo, and Veggie. This means that we get to Alfredo based dishes and two tomato sauce dishes. So what comes on each of these pasta dishes?

Obviously the Chicken Alfredo comes with a creamy Alfredo sauce, as well as mozzarella cheeses, Parmesan cheeses, and of course grilled chicken. For the Cheesy Alfredo, we once again start off with a creamy Alfredo sauce and then we just remove the chicken (basically it’s the same dish just without the meat).

For our two tomato-based pasta dishes, let us look at the Veggie first. With the veggie pasta we get mozzarella cheese, green peppers, onions, Parmesan cheese, black olives, tomatoes, and of course that sweet tomato sauce. And our Italian Meats pasta gives us mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage, Parmesan cheese, pepperoni, and a finish of the sweet tomato sauce. So if you like your meats, the Italian Meats is for you, but if you love your veggies it’s all about the Veggie.

While we are not a fan of sweet tomato sauces, we are actually excited to give these to pasta dishes a try. And as big fans of Alfredo sauce we can’t wait to see if these live up to our expectations.
