MasterChef: Back to Win is on its 11th episode and that means we are down to 13 chefs competing for another chance to win the title of MasterChef. And for their latest challenge, it is time for another mystery box.

For this mystery box challenge, the ingredients were apparently chosen by MasterChef Season 3 winner, Christine Ha. On top of needing to make a Vietnamese dish with the mystery box ingredients, they will also have to use every ingredient that they receive. It is a challenge on top of a challenge for our cheftestants.

So what exactly is in the mystery box this time around?

MasterChef: Back to Win sees our top 13 take on another mystery box challenge

There are 11 ingredients that are commonly found in Vietnamese cooking. Among those ingredients there was fish sauce, cilantro, limes, Sambal, green onions, and more.

On top of the 11 ingredients they received, the cheftestants were also given a limited pantry of ingredients and just 60 minutes to make it all happen. With so many ingredients, it will definitely be all about the protein in order to make a dish that stands out for the judges.

During the walk through, Amanda revealed that she is making a Beef Pho. And with under an hour to go, this is a dish that could go terribly wrong since it usually takes a long time to develop the flavors. For Brandi, it is about making a Vietnamese Sticky Pork Belly inspired by Christine Ha. And then Emily is making a Lemongrass Pork dish with pickled veggies.

While all 13 chefs received the same ingredients, every cheftestant is bringing their own spin to these dishes. And of course, with some of these dishes it is all about making the flavors develop in a short period of time. It is the ultimate challenge for some of our chefs.

So which dishes stood out for the judges in terms of being the best of the best this week? Up first we have, Michael with his Vietnamese Beef Short Rib Stew with Crab Spring Rolls. The second chef called up was Christian with his Vegetable & Beef Pho. And finally, we had Dara with her Rice Porridge with a Seared Duck Breast.

So who won the immunity pin for next week with the top dish of the night? That honor went to Michael!

And which chefs stumbled and ended up with dishes in the bottom of the pack? First we have Bri with her Pan Seared Salmon. Then there was Brandi with her Vietnamese Sticky Pork Belly. Finally, we had Emily with her Lemongrass Pork Salad.

Ultimately, the chef going home after this mystery box challenge is Bri.
