Taco Bell is testing a new line of Grilled Lunchwraps
By D. Goodman
Of all the major fast food chains, Taco Bell seems like the one that is always testing either a brand new menu items or some new promotional deal. They have tested everything from biscuits to a Tortada to numerous versions of their popular Craving Box.
Now word is they are testing a brand new item that sounds like it could be another hit for the chain if the past is any indication. Because whenever they have combined the words “grilled” and “wraps” previously, the results are usually pretty good.
According to Chewboom, Taco Bell is currently testing a new line of what they are calling Grilled Lunchwraps at select locations in the Atlanta, Georgia area. They come in three different varieties and are available either alone or as part of a combo meal.
Taco Bell Grilled Lunchwraps will only be available for a limited time in Georgia.
First up is the Chicken Bacon Club Grilled Lunchwrap. It includes all-white meat chicken as well as avocado ranch sauce, chipotle sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, bacon (obviously) and a three-cheese blend all wrapped in a grilled flour tortilla.
Next is the Steak Chipotle Ranch Grilled Lunchwrap. It is essentially the same at above but leave off the bacon and swap out the chicken for grilled steak. If it was me I’d leave the bacon on but this is just a test run so have patience.
Finally there is the Southwest Grilled Lunchwrap. This one comes with either chicken or steak and includes lettuce, tomatoes, a three-cheese blend as well as a southwest ranch sauce and fiesta strips all wrapped in a grilled flour tortilla.
Honestly any one of those sounds like a winner to us. Hopefully the test run will go well because we could really see them being a big hit if added to the regular Taco Bell menu. I mean, I’d sure buy one.
