McDonald’s is Fall ready with their latest McCafe treat
Fall might mean Pumpkin Spice everything, apple cider, maple, and basically all things apple and pumpkin in general, but McDonald’s wants to reimagine Fall snacks. And while they aren’t reinventing the wheel with their newest McCafe launch, they are doing their part to make us think outside of the pumpkin with our Fall treats.
What exactly are they releasing for a limited time to shake up our autumnal snacking? That would be their newest baked good, the Cheese Danish.
According to a press release from McDonald’s,
"This flakey pastry with a sweet cream cheese filling and topped with a buttery streusel and light vanilla drizzle is exactly what you didn’t even know you needed this season. Perfect to enjoy for breakfast or as an afternoon treat, we’re serving it up all day at participating restaurants nationwide starting Sept. 14."
McDonald’s is reimagining Fall with their newest McCafe baked good offering
This is not the first time that McDonald’s has offered a Cheese Danish in their restaurants. In fact, this was a treat that was first made available in the 1980s, but it is getting revamped in order to join the McCafe baked good family that already includes the Cinnamon Roll, Blueberry Muffins, and an Apple Fritter.
Of course, just because the Cheese Danish is hitting the McDonald’s menu on September 14, that does not mean that it is a permanent addition to the McCafe lineup. Instead, this will only be a limited edition treat that will be around for the Fall and Pumpkin Spice season.
While we don’t know exactly how long the Cheese Danish will be available, we definitely think it will become an instant classic for the season. In fact, it might just be the MVP of the menu as it helps us find the perfect sweet treat to snag instead of a Pumpkin Spice anything.
What do you think guilty eaters? Are you excited for McDonald’s to drop their Cheese Danish on Sept. 14? We want to know what you think.
