MasterChef has been renewed for Season 13 ahead of Back to Win finale

Exciting news for foodie fans who love Gordon Ramsay and MasterChef! The series has been renewed by FOX for a 13th season.

The news, which was shared by TV Line, dropped just hours before the MasterChef: Back to Win season finale is set to air on FOX. With Dara, Michael, and Christian battling for the title of Back to Win champion, it is absolutely exciting news to see the series getting picked up for an all new season of cooking challenges.

While we don’t know a lot about what MasterChef Season 13 will offer, including if there will be a theme like the last few seasons, we do know that Ramsay (of course), Joe Bastianich, and Aarón Sánchez are all set to return to their judging duties for this new season.

And while we don’t know all of the details for Season 13 just yet (we still have to crown a Season 12 winner at the time of this news dropping), we can absolutely expect the season to return in the summer of 2023. Since MasterChef: Back to Win premiered on May 25, 2022, we will definitely be on the lookout for a premiere date at the end of May or very beginning of June.

We are excited to see what MasterChef has in store for us in their 13th season after bringing back so many fan favorites for a second chance to win. Hopefully we get some more of the old school vibes we loved, which would mean bringing in more home cooks over professional chefs.

We will have to wait to see what the series has planned for the chefs (and us). But for now, we have a new winner to crown.
