Mocktails that the Sanderson Sisters might love

Hocus Pocus fans are super excited for the upcoming debut of the movie sequel on September 30th. If you are hosting families and friends for a watch party, what better way to celebrate than with movie-themed food and drinks, especially tasty mocktails?

Not everyone drinks alcohol. That doesn’t mean you can’t have delicious themed drinks and Fresca knows this. In honor of Halloween and the release of Hocus Pocus 2, the beverage brand has created two mocktails that would make the Sanderson Sisters proud.

The Apple & Turmeric Elixir and Bloody Rose Sour have flavor combinations that are both sophisticated and fun. The Citrus Fresca adds refreshing bubbles and a tangy flavor to these mocktails.

Apple & Turmeric Elixir

Ingredients:
1/2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
3oz Cloudy Apple juice
1/2 tsp Ground Turmeric
2 tbsp Lemon juice
Slice of ginger
3oz Citrus Fresca
Ice cubes
Green food coloring

Method: Add the apple cider vinegar, cloudy apple juice, ground turmeric, lemon juice, slice of ginger, four drops of green food coloring, and a handful of ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, then pour into a tall glass filled with ice, top up with Citrus Fresca.

Bloody Rose Sour

Ingredients:
2oz Cherry juice
1oz Lemon juice
1 tsp Rose simple syrup
1 tsp Maraschino cherry syrup
1oz Citrus Fresca
Maraschino cherry garnish
Rose petal garnish
Ice cubes

Method: Add the cherry juice, lemon juice, rose simple syrup, maraschino cherry syrup and a large handful of ice to a cocktail shaker, shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into a coupe style cocktail glass, then top up with a splash of citrus Fresca. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a rose petal.
