Add some sparkle to your Fall sipping with the help of WhistlePig
Are you looking for a next level sipping experience to get you through the Fall? Have you given WhistlePig Whiskey a try yet? We have a little sparkle for you courtesy of the brand and their latest cocktail recipe and special bundle!
Just in time for Fall, WhistlePig is bringing the sparkle to our cocktails. And what better way to make that happen than with a very special bottle of Barrel-Aged Sparkle Maple Syrup?! This special edition of maple syrup not only brings the sparkle (for real!), but it “is made in collaboration with Runamok Maple, full of local ingredients, aged in former whiskey barrels then enhanced with sparkles.”
Sounds amazing right? Well it really is! And we are here for all of this sparkle. (Seriously we are absolutely ready to start pouring sparkly maple syrup on everything.)
But that’s not all, as WhistlePig is taking this bit of magic and using it in their newest cocktail creation – The Sparkle Maple Old Fashioned!
How to make the WhistlePig Sparkle Maple Old Fashioned
Not only can you snag everything you need to make this cocktail in the form of a special bundle offer, but that also includes the cutest Pig Pour Spout!
But how do you make this sparkly creation?
What you need:
- 1.5 ounces of WhistlePig Piggyback 100 percent Rye
- 0.25 ounces of the WhistlePig Barrel Aged Maple Syrup (specifically the Sparkle Edition)
- 3 Dashes of Bitters (they recommend a Maple Bitters for this one)
- An Orange Peel for the garnish
What to do:
To bring a little bit of Vermont into your Fall sipping, start by getting an Old Fashioned Glass. Add all of the ingredients to the glass and add in ice cubes. Stir the ingredients with the ice to help incorporate all of the maple syrup into the mix. Garnish the glass with your orange peel curl and sip away with a sparkle.
