Where did summer go? Fall is in full effect and it’s time for all things apple and pumpkin spice. Just in time for sweater weather, Spindrift Spiked has a new flavor that you’ll want to check out!
Spindrift is a popular sparkling water brand that has been satisfying “Drifters” (their community of loyal fans) since 2010. The brand, known for its colorful beverages made with real fruit, currently has twelve flavors in its lineup. According to the company’s website, founder Bill Creelman named the brand after “the refreshing spray that blows off of a breaking wave. For him the ocean is the perfect symbol of real refreshment.”
Spindrift Spiked debuted in March of 2021. Similar to its non-alcoholic predecessor, Spindrift Spiked is also made with real fruit as well as a cane sugar base. This line includes flavors like pineapple, mango, lime, grapefruit and passion orange guava.
With the arrival of fall, the company has debuted its first ever seasonal flavor, Spiced Apple Cider. Think flavors of real squeezed apple and cinnamon spice – basically fall in a can, for adults only! With a list of ingredients that include carbonated water, alcohol fermented from cane sugar, apple puree, citric acid and cinnamon, this is a beverage that you can feel good about drinking. There is no added sugar.
Spiced Apple Cider is the new seasonal flavor from Spindrift Spiked
Like their other Spiked beverages, this is 4% ABV. Since it’s a seasonal release, you can only get the Spiced Apple Cider flavor for a limited time. However, Drifters will be happy to hear the following from Bill Creelman as he notes: “People have such strong associations matching flavors to times of year. That’s why we’re looking forward to exploring more seasonal offerings in the future. Real ingredients like fruit, grow by season – there is an optimal time for when they are best harvested. When we let nature guide us, the results are always incredible.” It looks like there will be more seasonal releases in the future!
The Spiced Apple Cider cans are available in 8-packs of 12-oz. cans and are currently being sold in select stores now. For those Spindrift fans looking for this fall flavor in a non-alcoholic version, the company will be releasing a sparkling water version in early November. However, it will be sold exclusively on the company’s website.
